Enjoy a Fantastic 7 Day Dive Safari to search for our famous ragged tooth sharks, enormous brindle bass (grouper), elusive frog fish, numerous types of nudibranchs, with the occasional meeting of turtles, rays and dolphins. At Protea Banks we will search for hammerhead sharks, zambezies, and possibly even encounter a great white or bronze whaler.
As an optional extra, and if we have time, we can arrange for our famous Tiger Shark Dive – this is where we will encounter up to 9 sharks whilst in the water, without cages, and you will be able to film them close up and personal. PS you are not going to get the same without a Guide!!

SCHEDULE:
Day One
Upon arrival, transfer yourself (+- 25 minutes) to your accommodation on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast. All rooms are en-suite, have TV’s, coffee & tea facilities, linen, bath towels provided (bring own beach & swimming pool towels). Rooms have ceiling fans, are serviced and have superb “Sea Views”. There is a swimming pool. A few restaurants are around to enjoy meals & braai (BBQ) facilities are available.
Day Two
An Early morning rise to enjoy two dives on the world famous Aliwal Shoal. We can then spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying one of the local activities. Overnight at the same “Sea View” accommodation.
Day Three
An Early morning rise to enjoy two dives on Aliwal Shoal. We can then spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying one of the local activities. Overnight at the same “Sea View” accommodation. In the afternoon transfer yourself to Protea Banks (1 hour drive south). Overnight in twin-bedded wooden chalets raised up on stilts with a balcony. The all have private entrances, en-suite shower. A few restaurants are around to enjoy evening meals & braai (BBQ) facilities are available.
Day Four
An Early morning rise to enjoy 2 dives on Protea Banks (or a double tank dive, depending on group size) Protea Banks is rated as one of the world's best shark diving spots.
Day Five
An Early morning rise to enjoy 2 dives on Protea Banks (or a double tank dive, depending on group size
Day Six
Return transfer to Aliwal for your final dive on Aliwal Shoal mid-morning, and then spend he afternoon relaxing or enjoying one of the local activities. Overnight at the same “Sea View” accommodation.
Day Seven
After breakfast, goodbuys, sign logbooks, receive a DVD of your holiday, and have a safe journey onwards!
